Please Note
*When comparing prices, ensure that the quotes you receive pertain to the same style of tent and rental items.
*For tent packages, solid walls will be included; however, if window walls are desired, an extra charge will be incurred.
*The setup date and time for the tents will be established during the week of the event. Should you request a specific day and time, an additional fee may be applicable.
*At no time should safety pins, regular pins, duct tape, adhesive tape, nails, or any sharp objects be affixed to the tent walls or the tents themselves. Should any of these items be used, the customer will be liable for cleaning fees, repairs, and any damages incurred.
*Prior to the arrival of your rental items, Special Events and Tents will provide the homeowner with instructions before the crew's arrival.
*Once the tent is set up, it cannot be moved without incurring an additional fee.
*Before the tent is erected, please contact Ontario One Call at 1-800-400-2255 or visit www.on1call.com to verify that there are no underground utilities. Special Events and Tents will not be held responsible for any damage to sprinkler systems or underground wiring and cabling.
*If tables and chairs remain set up at the designated teardown time and date, a minimum teardown fee of $350.00 will be charged for their disassembly. Tables and chairs must be stacked as they were upon delivery.
*According to the Ontario Building Code (OBC), a tent permit is required for tents with a ground area of 60 square metres (646 square feet) or more. We can assist in obtaining the permit, which will incur an additional fee.
*An engineer's inspection is mandatory for larger tents (225 square metres or 2420 square feet) before the structure can be occupied.
*Special Events and Tents will supply Flame Certificates and site plans for all necessary permits to the relevant municipality and fire departments.
